What we collect

Nothing. The app does not gather, transmit or store any personal information on our systems, because there are no systems. We operate no servers and hold no database.

What stays on your device

Everything you do in the app is saved in the app’s own private storage on your phone:

• The commitments you choose or write
• Each moment you record, and the day it happened
• Your settings, such as sound, haptics and appearance

This information never leaves your phone. It is not backed up to us, not shared, and not readable by anyone else. Deleting the app removes it permanently, so if it matters to you, note it down elsewhere before you do.

Purchases

I Resisted offers a single optional purchase that unlocks the app for life. That transaction is handled entirely by Apple or Google. Your payment details go to them and never pass through us — we do not see or store your card, address or billing information.

When you buy, or restore an earlier purchase, the app asks the store one question: whether this account owns the unlock. The answer is a yes or no, and it is kept on your device.

Analytics, adverts and tracking

There are none. No advertising, no third-party analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifier, no cookies and no tracking of any kind, across this app or any other.

Permissions

The app never asks you to grant a permission. It has no access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, location or health data, and it does not ask for any of them.

Android lists a short technical set on the store page, which the system grants without asking you: vibration for the haptics, audio for the sound the button makes, billing for the optional purchase, and network access. None of them read anything about you. Network access is there for one thing only — asking the store whether the unlock has been bought.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and nothing is collected from anyone, children included. There is never anything held about a child for us to hand over or erase.

Your rights

Data protection law gives you rights to access, correct and delete personal data held about you. Since we hold none, there is nothing for us to send you or erase. Your record is yours already, on your own device, and you can clear it at any time from Settings within the app.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date. If a future version of the app ever collected anything at all, we would say so plainly and ask you first.
